The Death of America As We Know It!

By Brian K. Lutes

It is THE HARD TRUTH that the death of America as we know it was announced all through the night around the world.

But, unlike most death announcements this one was applauded like no other I have ever seen.

Outside the White House people gathered and proudly waved the flag of the former Soviet Union with its Hammer & Cycle of gold on a red field signifying Communism, a crowd of Bolsheviks chanted in Chicago, a crowd of Palestinians jumped up & down in the desert, a crowd of Socialists ranted in Venezuela, a crowd of Castroites cheered in Havana, and the rest of us feel as though we have been kicked in the stomach.

Anyone who doubts the path we are on had better wake up & take a very stiff drink with a reality chaser.

The supposed election of Barack Hussein Obama, which can still be averted by the Electoral College with the right kind of pressure, is a testament as to how successful the ideologues at the National Education Association that have seized our public schools have been over the last 50 years. Over that period of time the public schools have been transformed from institutions that prepared children to be responsible citizens in a free society into government indoctrination centers that have been used to teach our children that capitalism, personal responsibility, and limited government is not what these United States were founded on. These kids truly believe that it is the role of government to take care of everyone and to give them everything they want or need.

The other day CBS radio played an interview with a woman at an Obama campaign rally. The woman said: “I never thought I would see this day, when I wouldn’t have to worry about paying my mortgage or putting gas in my car. If I help him, he’s going to help me.”

These people really believe this and when they don’t get it they are going to be as mad as hell. They will look for someone to blame and the one they choose won’t be Obama.

The Weekly Standard web-site has a video clip of Democrat Congressman Jim Moran of Virginia’s 8th District saying: “We have been guided by a republican administration who believes in the simplistic notion that people who have wealth are entitled to keep it and they have antipathy towards means of redistributing wealth and they may be able to sustain that for awhile, but it doesn’t work in the long run.”

That ideology is what this is all about and I don’t know if we will be able to stop this socialism train once it starts rolling down the track. History has shown us that once this starts the only way to stop it is to let it crash, blossom into a communism expressway, and pray that a modern day Jesse James commandeers the whole thing returning it to the station.

There is a very old saying in politics: “People generally get the government they deserve.”And make no mistake about it we deserve what has happened to us. As a nation we have turned our backs on God, the principles handed down to us by our Founding Fathers, our Constitution, and have willingly handed ourselves over to a follower of Saul Alinsky, Fidel Castro, Karl Marx, and Franklin Roosevelt.

We have asked for a socialist king and he has been given to us.

The Bible tells us in 1 Samuel 8:1-22: “And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons Judges over Israel. Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah: they were Judges in Beer-sheeba. And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted the judgement. then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, And said unto him, Behold thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a King to judge us like all nations. But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a King to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the Lord. And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. According to all the works which they have done since the day I that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other Gods, so do they also unto thee. Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the King that shall reign over them. And Samuel told all the words of the Lord unto the people that asked of him a King. And he said, This will be the manner of the King that shall reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. And he will take your daughters to be confectioneries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your olive-yards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And he will take the 10th of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and his servants. And he will take your menservants, and maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the 10th of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants. And ye shall cry out in that day because of your King which ye shall have chosen you; and the Lord will not hear you in that day. Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay ; but we will have a King over us; That we may also be like all the nations; and that our King may judge us , and go out before us, and fight our battles. And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of the Lord. And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a King. And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his city.”

The death of America as we know it is upon us.

Global Poverty Act Would Cost U.S. Additional $65 Billion / Year

A bill sponsored by Barack Hussein Obama and co-sponsored by Joe Biden in the U.S. Senate would cost U.S. taxpayers an additional $65 billion per year in foreign aid if it is approved.

The Global Poverty Act (GPA), Senate Bill # 2433, was introduced in the Senate on December 7, 2007. In addition to Obama & Biden, Democrats Diane Feinstein of California and John Kerry of Massachusetts are in favor of the bill.

A February 14, 2008 World Net Daily (WND.com) article says Cliff Kincaid of Accuracy in Media (AIM) has reported that the GPA would dedicate 0.7% of the U.S. Gross National Product which is defined as: The value of all final goods & services produced in the U.S.A. in 1 year, plus income earned by American citizens abroad, minus income earned by foreigners in the U.S.A., to foreign aid which would amount to $845 billion over 13 years. That amount would be on top of the money the U.S already gives away to foreign countries.

Kincaid quoted Obama as saying that the GPA is the “type of legislation we must make a priority” and “It must be a priority of U.S. foreign policy to commit to eliminating poverty and ensuring every child has food, shelter, and clean drinking water. The bill will demonstrate our promise & commitment to the developing world  our commitment to the global economy must extend to helping workers & small farmers everywhere. It is time that the U.S. makes it a priority to meet the goal of helping those who are struggling day to day and declares that it is official U.S. policy to eliminate global poverty.”

The bill, in Section 5, defines individuals living in global poverty as those living on less than $2 per day and those individuals living in “extreme” global poverty as those living on less than $1 per day.

In addition, the bill will institute the United Nations Millennium Summit goals as benchmarks for U.S. spending on global poverty.

The bill would also bind the U.S. to United Nations treaties on banning small arms & light weapons which would basically eliminate our 2nd Amendment rights, the International Criminal Court which would make American citizens subject to arrest for violating United Nations edicts, the Kyoto Protocol or Global Warming treaty which would destroy the U.S. economy by requiring Americans to pay a tax to the U.N. on the use of fossil fuels (every time you purchase a gallon of gasoline you would be paying a tax to the UN), and the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child which basically says that parents have no right to discipline their children if such discipline could cause stress to the child.

The GPA, in Section 4 (a), “Requires the President of the U.S.A. to develop & implement a comprehensive strategy to reduce global poverty, eliminating extreme global poverty & reducing by 1/2 the proportion of people who live on less than $1 per day.”

The fact that this bill is completely Unconstitutionalgoes without saying and does not seem to bother Obama & Biden. And it must be realized that the money Obama is talking about literally giving away will come from us as taxpayers.

How is Obama going to deliver on the promises he is making to his followers and fund this bill at the same time? It can’t be done, it’s that simple.

This bill must not be allowed to become law and I cannot urge you strongly enough to call your Representatives & Senators and tell them to vote no on the Global Poverty Act immediately.
